On the heels of my departure for my adventure with Joni and Friends, Joe e-mails me this article, and it was so good that I decided to share it with my friends, family and supporters alike. How fitting that it was an article by Joni Earekson Tada. I find her words so great. I hope whoever reads this blog takes the time to read it.
So, I leave in 12 days. 12 DAYS. I am tying up loose ends, and trying to make sure that nothing unravels. I know that God has gone before me and blazed the trail. Everything is seemingly falling into place slowly but surely, and that is a huge blessing.
I am still raising support, so if you or anyone else you know is interested in making a tax deductible donation, please share my blog with them. ANY amount is an appreciated amount. I realize that times are hard for so many people right now, but please understand that every amount is helpful. Truth? $5.00 will buy deoderant, and I know that my supervisor would be most apprecative of that, cause let's be honest: no human being should ever smell like chicken noodle soup. Am I right? $5.00 also buys a footlong from Subway. That is two meals. Every little bit helps, ladies and gentlemen!
Also, I am being commissioned this Sunday at Red Mountain Church, at 5:00PM. That is exciting for me. Any and all friends and supporters are welcome to come! I think some of my "extended" family are coming up from Montgomery, so that is exciting as well.
I am still so excited and grateful for such an amazing opportunity to help and serve God's Kingdom. Thanks for all of your continued love, support and prayers.
Grace and Peace, guys!
