Ever since I can remember, I have gotten REALLY excited when I get mail. Magazines, letters, packages, anything other than bills...make me smile.
Whenever I would go to camp as a child/adolescent, I would be the individual with the most mail. My mom was good about sending letters a few days before I got there, so that by the time I arrived, there would be mail with my name on it.
In fifth grade, our entire class took a week long field trip to a camp to learn about nature or something. On the last night of Camp Alpine, awards were given out for achievements and what-have-yous.
I was awarded "The Pony Express" award because I got the most mail in a five day period. It was fantastic!
I have had several people ask me if I can receive mail where I am staying. Yes, I can! I have also been asked to share the address with friends, family and supporters alike, so that they can send things that might be a necessity. Luxury items are okay, too, though! ;-)
Rather than list things I need on here, if you are reading this, and you know me, send me an e-mail! I will gladly tell you things that would be beyond appreciated!

Thanks for those of you who have checked in with me to see how I am adjusting. That means a lot. I am so thankful for you all.
A lyric that really resonates with me in times of uncertainty comes from an old Caedmon's Call song, Table For Two:
"You know I know better,
I'm not gonna worry 'bout nothin'
'Cause if the birds and the flowers survive,
then I'll make it okay."
There may be a few kinks to work out, but I will make it!
