Whoa, Nelly!

So, I go to church with some pretty amazing people. Red Mountain Church decided to have a church party, and some people in my community group had the idea of having an old fashioned bake sale to help me raise money for my trip. Pretty cool idea! My goal for the bake sale was to raise $200 or close to it. By the end of the bake sale, we had raised $464! That is pretty amazing, seeing as how everything was priced at $1 or $2 each. So, the people of Red Mountain Church are not only beyond generous, but are incredibly fond of any and all things sweet. I feel so blessed to have a church family who cares so deeply and wants to see me do well with this internship!
